Christmas will be in the air in downtown Mitchell tonight with Christmas at the Palace and the Parade of Lights. The fun starts at the Corn Palace at 4:30 with Santa and his elves, yummy goodies, and live music. Then at 7 PM, the Parade of Lights will begin, where more than 60 vehicles will light up Mitchell’s Main Street from 1st to 9th Avenue. This year’s theme is Songs of Christmas. Both events are free and open to the public.
