DWU Campus Ministry to conduct annual food drive on Sunday

Mitchell, S.D.— Dakota Wesleyan University’s Campus Ministry will conduct the annual New Student Orientation Food Drive on Sunday, Aug. 20 from 1 – 3 p.m. All new DWU students, along with upper class leaders, will be collecting non-perishable food items from the community by going door to door. All food items will be donated to the Mitchell Area Food Pantry.

Feel free to leave your items by your front door if you will not be home. If students don’t make it to your home, please consider using the drop box open to the public from Friday, Aug. 18 to Sunday, Aug. 20 at the McGovern Library on the DWU campus or drop off at the Mitchell Food Pantry at 812 N. Rowley Street during their open hours (see their Facebook page).
