FORT PIERRE, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) A Fort Pierre lottery ticket landed its owner a major win in Sunday’s Lucky for Life drawing. The ticket, purchased at Dakotamart, is worth $25,000 a year for life, or a one-time payout of $390,000. It marks the fifth major South Dakota Lottery win in August alone. Meanwhile, the $1.1 billion Powerball jackpot went unclaimed, pushing the prize even higher for tonight’s drawing, now among the top five largest in the game’s history.
