LAKE ANDES, S.D. (MITCHELLNOW) An 18 year old Lake Andes woman is facing two felony charges after reportedly threatening a woman and her infant during a rent dispute in Wagner. Police say Margaret Fischer hit a woman with a BB gun and pointed it at her and her baby while demanding they move out. Witnesses also claimed she tried to push the woman down the stairs during the September 5th incident. Officers later recovered the BB gun and arrested Fischer, who denied the allegations. She is charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon. If convicted, Fischer could face up to 30 years in prison and $60,000 in fines. A preliminary hearing is set for later this month. For more crime stories from MitchellNow.com, click here.
