Mitchell Basketball Players Receive Eastern South Dakota Conference Honors

It was announced early Wednesday morning that the Eastern South Dakota Conference released its All-Conference awards and various Mitchell players were acknowledged by the conference. Including a first-time honoree this season.

Boys Basketball

All-Conference: Colton Smith (2x All-ESD)

Girls Basketball

All-Conference: CeCe Morgan & Addie Siemsen (3x All-ESD)

Next for both the girls and boys teams is SoDak16 playoff action. The No. 7 seed Kernel girls will play Spearfish on Friday, March 6 at 6pm in the Mitchell high school. The No. 12 seed Kernel boys will play No. 5 seed Watertown at 6pm in Watertown on Saturday, March 7.
