Mitchell Volleyball

The Kernel volleyball team is preparing for another match that will take place tomorrow. They will travel to Aberdeen to face Aberdeen Central at Aberdeen Central high school. It’ll get started with freshman and JV at 4:30pm, sophomores at 5:30pm and varsity begins at 6:30pm.

MLB

The American League Championship series continues after a Game 7 was forced yesterday. It was the No. 1 seed Toronto Blue Jays who extended the series with a 6-2 win over the No. 2 seed Seattle Mariners. That Game 7 will be played tonight in Toronto at 7:08pm on FOX/FS1.

NFL

The Minnesota Vikings nearly staged a comeback yesterday afternoon against the Philadelphia Eagles. Minnesota was unable to make that comeback and fell to Philadelphia, 28-22. Tonight, it’ll be Monday Night Football with two games on tap. Starting with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at the Detroit Lions at 6pm on ABC/ESPN. Followed by the Houston Texans at the Seattle Seahawks on ESPN and will start at 9pm.

NBA

The NBA season begins tomorrow night with a pair of National TV games. You’ll have the Houston Rockets at the Oklahoma City Thunder with tipoff at 6:30pm on NBC/Peacock. Followed by the Golden State Warriors at the Los Angeles Lakers at 9pm also on NBC/Peacock.
