Sports Roundup: DWU Men’s Basketball Falls to Mount Mercy; Vikings and Timberwolves Wrap Up Weekend Action 11/10/25

MITCHELL, SD (Mitchell Now) — The Dakota Wesleyan University men’s basketball team suffered its first loss of the season Sunday afternoon in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, while Minnesota’s pro teams split results over the weekend — the Vikings falling to Baltimore and the Timberwolves cruising past Sacramento.

DWU Basketball

The Tiger men’s basketball saw action on a Sunday afternoon yesterday on the road in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. After their 3-0 start to the season under head coach Sam Nicholson, they ran into a roadblock against Mount Mercy. Tigers were held to 25% shooting from deep and fell for the first time this season, 82-60. Easton Neuendorf led DWU with 15 points. DWU is now 3-1 overall on the season.

NFL

The Minnesota Vikings had a tough matchup yesterday afternoon taking on the Baltimore Ravens. After a 10-9 lead for Minnesota in the first half, Baltimore stormed back and won the second half 18-9 and ended up winning the game, 27-19. Monday Night Football will round out week 10 tonight. It’ll be the Philadelphia Eagles at the Green Bay Packers at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, WI at 7:15pm on ABC/ESPN.

NBA

The Minnesota Timberwolves took on the Sacramento Kings last night in a late game on the road. It was a dominant performance from the Timberwolves and they won it, 144-117. Anthony Edwards scored 26 points to lead Minnesota.
