Mitchell Basketball

The Kernel basketball teams begin their season tomorrow. They’ll be in Watertown at Watertown high school with all teams in action facing the Arrows. At 3:30pm the freshman boys will play and so will both the boys and girls JV team. Then at 4:45pm it’ll be the sophomore boys playing. At 6pm the varsity games begin as the girls will face the Watertown girls (0-1) and then the boys varsity will follow and play the Watertown boys (1-0) at 7:30pm.

SDSU Basketball

The Jackrabbit men’s basketball team (7-5) will play tonight on neutral ground against Wyoming (8-2). They will play in Sioux Falls, SD at the Sanford Pentagon at 7pm and will air on Midco Sports Plus.

NFL

The Minnesota Vikings took on the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, TX for Sunday Night Football last night. It was a tough night for the Dallas offense as they could not muster a touchdown through the air and kicker Brandon Aubrey missed a pair of field goals in their 34-26 loss to the Vikings. J.J. McCarthy had three total touchdowns and threw for 250 yards in the win over Dallas. Minnesota is now 6-8 overall.

NBA

The Minnesota Timberwolves faced the Sacramento Kings for the fourth time this season and got themselves another win. Minnesota got their third victory over Sacramento this year after their 117-103 win last night. They were without Anthony Edwards and Julius Randle led the way with a 24-point and 10-rebound double-double.
