Mitchell Volleyball

The Kernel volleyball team will face Brandon Valley on the road tonight. They’ll play at Brandon Valley high school with freshman & JV playing at 4:30pm, sophomores at 5:30pm and varsity at 6:30pm.

DWU Golf

The Tiger men’s golf team will be back at it again for their final day in the Firestorm Invitational at the Verrado Founders Golf Course. After day one, DWU has some climbing to do in the rankings after sitting in 15th place out of 16 teams. They have just one player inside the Top 50 and it’s Peyton Betcher who is tied for 15th place at even par. The Tigers will tee off at 10am this morning.

DWU Soccer

The Tiger women’s soccer team gets their postseason action going tonight in the Great Plains Athletic Conference Quarterfinals. They’ll take on Hastings at Lloyd Wilson Field in Hastings, NE at 7pm. DWU is the 6 seed and Hastings is the 3 seed.

DWU Volleyball

The (RV) Tiger volleyball is on the road tonight. They are set to face the Briar Cliff Chargers in Sioux City, Iowa at the Newman Flanagan Center. The match begins at 7:30pm.

DWU Basketball

The Tiger basketball teams will have their first doubleheader of the season this evening against Bismarck State (ND). The No. 9 ranked women’s basketball team will play first at 6pm, followed by the men’s team at 8pm.

NFL

It was Monday Night Football last night between the Dallas Cowboys and the Arizona Cardinals to round out week 9 action. A strong day from a depleted Cardinals team who were able to get a win over the Cowboys in Arlington, 27-17.

NBA

The Minnesota Timberwolves took on the Brooklyn Nets last night and it was closer than expected until the final quarter. Minnesota won the fourth quarter 34-21 and came away with a 125-109 win. Donte DiVincenzo led the way for the Timberwolves with 25 points. They are now 4-3 overall and good news surfaced earlier yesterday that Anthony Edwards has resumed on-court activity and is making progress towards a return.
