WEEKEND SPORTS: Kernel Softball two-game slate, Tiger track on the road, Twins vs Guardians & NBA Playoff Semifinals Game 3’s and Game 4’s

Mitchell

The Kernel softball team will be in action over the weekend with a pair of games. They’ll be here in Mitchell at Cadwell Park. Saturday they will face Sturgis with JV at 9am and varsity 10:30am. Sunday they will play Spearfish with JV at 12:30pm and varsity at 2pm.

DWU

The Tiger track & field teams are both busy this weekend competing on Saturday only. They’ll be on the road in the Loper Twilight. Start time is TBA.

MLB

The Minnesota Twins will have a pair of games over the weekend against the Cleveland Guardians. They’ll be on the road for both games and they will air on MLBTV. Saturday they will play at5:10pm and on Sunday the first pitch is at 12:40pm.

NBA

We’re a few games into the Semifinals and more games continue over the weekend. Game 3’s on Saturday and Game 4’s on Sunday. You’ll have:

Saturday

  • No. 1 seed Detroit Pistons @ No. 4 seed Cleveland Cavaliers at 2pm on NBC/Peacock
  • No. 1 seed Oklahoma City Thunder @ No. 4 seed Los Angeles Lakers at 7:30pm on ABC

Sunday

  • No. 3 seed New York Knicks @ No. 7 seed Philadelphia 76ers at 2:30pm on ABC
  • No. 2 seed San Antonio Spurs @ No. 6 seed Minnesota Timberwolves at 6:30pm on NBC/Peacock
